Row Downstream To Quickly And Easily Collect Hundred Stacks On The Internet

This piece has to do with pulling in revenue from your couch more quickly and easily than you ever thought possible.

All I request is that you put these strategies to the test and when they come back positive ROI, check in at my main site to get the story of how a odd encounter at a alehouse in NYC launched my business from merely floating to in the black in a jiffy.

I have made countless mistakes on my way to bringing in a few hundred dollars a month on the Internet.

Rising above those hurdles was valuable because that profit, even though not a gargantuan amount, comes in every month without me worrying. To put it another way, whether I sign into that blog or not, that dough hits my bank regularly.

And I have to say, it feels great.

However, if I had the opportunity to do it over again, there are a few things that I would do differently and I am certain I would have made more profits in much less time.

That’s what this post is about… crumbling fabrications about selling products online as an affiliate and getting you from no money to money in the shortest time possible. First I will tell you about the specific gaffes that I made on my path and then I will give you the plan to bypass all the BS and make money quickly and easily as if you were heading with the current as opposed to against it.

When I got started on the Net, I first learned search engine optimization so that I could get my family’s restaurant to rank better on Google.

The good news is I learned how to rank websites on page one of the search engines.

The bad news is, even though I got websites on page one of Google, I was focusing on the wrong key phrases! That was my first gaffe… the wrong keywords.

I was fed up with ranking with nothing to show for it so I bought a course on affiliate marketing and had some success. This time around it was my website strategy that limited my success. In my mind, a big site where I wrote about many different products was the right way.

I got the site up to a few hundred bucks a month but then it plateaued Plus, to get the site up to its current traffic levels it took me a couple months and a bunch of hard work.

I compare this strategy to maneuvering a huge cargo ship. It takes a lot of time and energy to get where you need to go.

A Quick Story

That’s when I serendipitously met a guy while at a networking event in a bar in Manhattan who crushed that authority site belief that I was holding on to. It turns out that he’s made over ten million dollars in a little over a decade making sites with only a few pages of content.

I was left with my mouth open.

I had been working at adding tons of new content daily so that Google would trust me and this guy was getting his sites on the first page within days and with basicly nothing on them?

WTF!

That night I learned about the importance of having your target keywords in your domain name. Not sure why I never utilized this before but Google will first choose the site with the exact match domain unless another site is linked to ten times as much. It accounts for twenty five percent of where you end up in the results.

One out of four!

By building smaller sites focused on individual products you can get sites up and profitable much quicker and with less effort because they are easier to rank. This way if you fail, who cares? My revelation didn’t stop there. Build a site on a domain name containing phrases that buyers tend to search and you will have visitors reading your content with their credit cards out.

Now that’s rowing your boat gently down the stream. The people that come to your website are ready to hand you money and you can get your site on page one (and get the majority of that traffic) much easier because you just eliminated 25% of the search engine trouble.

To Make Money Online Like Taking Candy from a Baby, Follow These Four Steps

1. Figuring Out Which Phrases Buyers Search For

  • Following are the greatest buyer phrases:
  • Name of Product
  • Product Name Reviews
  • Model Number
  • Name of Product followed by Bonus for people searching for someone giving away a complementary bonus for buying
  • Product Name Discount
  • The name of the person who created the product if he or she is searched for a lot by name
  • Buy Product Name
  • Buy Model Number

My key indicator is if the total number of searches of all commercial intent key phrases combined is above one thousand then you have a good possibility of having a winning product to promote.

Make sure to total up all phrase match keywords, not broad. If you are not aware of the difference, phrase match is when you search for something with quotation marks and all the words appear in the results in the same order. For now just know that when you use the Google External Keyword tool, you want to check off Phrase Match and uncheck the Broad Match box in the left hand sidebar.

Don’t take these figures to the grave, just a use them as benchmarks. After doing this a few times and seeing what sells and what doesn’t you will become excellent and keyword research and spotting winners when you see them.

2. Competitive Analysis

There are a couple critical questions to answer regarding the first five or ten results in Google for your chosen term before deciding whether or not to compete in a market:

Investigate the Competition Is it in the front or the back? Homepage or interior page? Does the title of the site contain the keywords?

How about in the description? Check header tags for keywords

Rest assured that this may sound complicated and labor-intensive but any good tool will do this work for you.

Most of you reading this that know SEO will complain that it’s all about the number of backlinks. What I realized is that with a keyword rich domain, you can take down much stronger competitors with a fraction of the links.

For now and far into the future, the domain name plays that big of a role to your SEO success.

Brian Clark of Copy Blogger said, “…you can gain attention from people via search engines because Google trusts your content.”

That’s it. Having the keyword in your domain gives Google instant trust that your site is most relevant when those keywords are searched.

Are you following my logic?

3. Find the closest available exact match domain name

Go to your nearest domain host and see if the buyer keyword for the product you want to promote is available in dot com, dot net or dot org. My teacher can rank any of the three extensions just as easily but will first look for the dot com and then the dot net and if those are not available, will take the dot org.

The only further tip he gives is to leave out hyphens. I am a little skeptical so I recently registered a product name with a hyphen in the middle so I can see for myself

4. Getting Visits and Page Views

The last objective is to build some back links at your new domain using content syndication, video marketing, bookmarking, forum marketing, etc. Fortunately, you shouldn’t need too many backlinks to get ranked since you have the exact match domain name.

In Closing

The best thing about this method is the speed with which you can get feedback, learn what sells and work more on that site or move on to something else. Find and promote products you feel good about and contain the highest possibility of bringing in sales.

Out of ten sites, six will make a few bucks, two will not make any or make very little and two will be very profitable for you. How many blogs you build will predict how much money you bring in. It all comes down to numbers. We talked about buyer intent key phrases and the power of having your keywords right in your domain name.
